2-Ingredient Chilled Tomato Dessert

One of my favorite childhood summer treats is a chilled tomato dessert. You only need two ingredients, sugar, and tomato.

Ingredients

2 Servings

  • 1 large tomato

  • Sugar or honey or maple syrup

Instructions

1. Cut the tomato into 10 to 12 wedges. Remove the hard center.

2. Place the tomato wedges in a bowl or a container. Sprinkle 2 Tbsp to 4 Tbsp of sugar, toss well.

3. Chill tomato in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.

4. Enjoy!
