VIRTUAL We worked with Ye Ye to put together a cooking class for a team event during our Week of Wellness. She was highly recommended from friends at a different organization and we were delighted with our experience. Ye Ye was very thoughtful in her curation of a class and recipe that would work well for our team and added some extra options based on our initial discussions. The class itself was so much fun. Ye Ye led it at a great pace that worked for everyone and during the down time (while we were waiting for the dough to rest) she took us through a lovely educational experience to learn more about the different regions and foods of China. This insight into her heritage made it extra special. And finally, the food itself came out amazing. The noodles were fun to make (and not too complicated) and the sauces were absolutely delicious. We will certainly be making them again. Overall, we can not say enough good things about how lovely Ye Ye was to work with and how much we enjoyed this experience. Charity Byredo

IN PERSON We had the pleasure of hosting a cooking class with Ye Ye for our AAPI Heritage Month celebration in May. From the first point of contact until the day of the event, she was very attentive and ensured a smooth process by confirming menu options accounting for possible dietary restrictions, securing the venue for our event, and communicating all the necessary details. She prepared a short presentation introducing the dishes we were going to make (noodles and dumplings!) and was a very interactive and entertaining teacher. Preparing and chopping the vegetables took us a little longer than expected and the class ran long, but Ye Ye was still able to wrap up the class and we enjoyed the food regardless! Everyone really enjoyed the event and we'd love to collaborate with Ye Ye on another event soon. Jane Accenture

Hi Ye Ye. I just want to thank you immensely for travelling all the way out to Long Island to give my wife a cooking class for Mother’s Day. We all enjoyed it, and the food was outstanding. It was such a unique and pleasant gift for all of us. You are a delightful person, a great chef, and a very patient teacher. David Z from Long Island Ye Ye, It was such a WONDERFUL experience learning to cook and learning some history of your city, region, and country! We loved every minute of the experience. Ye Ye. The dumpling class last night was fantastic!  I’ve taken quite a few on-line cooking and baking classes during “covid times” and yours was clearly the best! Your technical set-up with the multiple cameras was superb, you shared even the smallest (but most important!) details easily, and the joy you took in the whole process was transmitted to each of us! I also commend you for allowing each of us to introduce ourselves and remain unmuted…it really made me feel connected to my fellow students.  You can be sure that I’ll be back for more of your classes!
